Your Role

Your primary focus is to drive the (revenue) growth and profitability of LevelUp by focusing on getting in new clients and new projects and pampering existing clients.

Your end goal? To take on end-to-end responsibility of our sales plan and the business development process. And to build sustainable relationships with founders of start-ups and scale-ups.

As a senior in our Growth Team, you will help our Growth Hacker focus on generating and qualifying leads. Your main priority will be initiating and participating in (and eventually lead) sales meetings. With your strategic mindset and business understanding, you’ll consult and advise our current and potential clients and take over the contract negotiations and closing of sales.

We believe that to be successful in this role, you will...:

  • Focus on building and nurturing relationships with Startup CEO/CTOs and their investors

  • Excel in closing deals with new fast-growing tech clients in the Netherlands

  • Be the face and voice of LevelUp in conferences, meetups and events

  • Apply a consultative mindset and strong curiosity to startups

  • Drive the growth of the company using growth hacking, inbound marketing and digital outbound prospecting tools

  • Collaborate closely with the founder/CEO and senior recruiters on signing new clients, and ensuring a strong handover & onboarding of new clients

  • Generate content and use content marketing to further establish LevelUp as thought leader for talent in the tech ecosystem, and to generate more inbound leads

  • Never cold call! We know it works for some but we believe it's highly unpleasant

  • BS/BSc./MSc. level, we need you to be a clever puppy

  • At least 4 years experience in a (full) sales cycle or business development role

  • Creativity to find new business and build strong relationships

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Possessing strong project management and forecasting skills

  • Managing expectations in external and internal stakeholders

  • Some experience in the startup ecosystem

  • Fluent in English and Dutch

  • Grit: if you fall flat on your face; crawl back up, cry or laugh a bit, fist-bump your colleague, and get back running to your goal

  • Enjoy getting things done, not just chatting about it

  • Great communication, influencing and interpersonal skills

  • Positive, enthusiastic and warm personality

  • You already have EU passport or EU working permit

Although not required, we offer bonus points for experience with content marketing, growth hacking, project- or event management, and public speaking or debating experience.
