Your role

You will lead the recruiting operations, the beating heart of our company. You lead the recruitment teams and ensure we are giving the best possible service to our clients. The value we add to clients is executing on their hiring plan. We do this by making hires, being their trusted advisors in hiring top talent, implementing process improvements, improving their employer branding, defining recruitment strategies and training them.

You will stretch your leadership capabilities to the max. First by leading ±10 medior and senior recruiters, growing their recruitment skills and developing their leadership and talents. You will hire and grow your teams from 10 to 50 people, part of which will operate (in the near future) in other European startup hubs such as Berlin and Barcelona.

As the Head of Recruitment, you will also focus on making our services more effective by building and executing in a strategic way and maintaining strong partnerships with current and potential clients. You will advise the team of best practices, coach them to become better sourcers and recruiters and help us develop a more data-driven company.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Lead the team from the front - engage with all levels of recruitment, driving growth in people and process while focusing on achieving our company mission

  • Optimise and implement the client recruitment strategies with a focus on continuously improving performance

  • Advise, motivate and support your team, harnessing their potential and develop their skills

  • Attract and hire great talent to LevelUp - expanding your teams both locally and internationally and

  • Nurture relationships with our clients while exploring and realising new business opportunities

  • Understand entrepreneurs and founders - speaking the same language and understanding their business challenges

  • You are an experienced, transformational leader with at least 4 years of leadership experience and extraordinary people management skills

  • You have 8+ years in recruitment, and are knowledgeable about various strategies and best practices

  • You are entrepreneurial, strategic, empowering and somewhat data-obsessed

  • You are a fantastic communicator and influencer, adaptable and able to create structure for others

  • You are a visionary leader in the space of recruitment, sourcing, management or leadership (bonus points if you’re an experienced speaker at conferences)
