Your Role

As part of our Growth team, you will be responsible for new customer revenue. Picture this:

The day starts with some Startup and investment news, while sipping your coffee. You email a few founders to congratulate them with funding and share some recruiting articles. You then answer inbound leads and questions and plan a few calls.

Later in the calls, you enquire about the talent challenges and hiring plan, and you feel there could be a fit. The meeting is planned for the next day and join in with one of our colleagues. You didn't know the company before, but they were doing something really cool. You enthusiastically send a draft contract over and cycle back home.

Right in time for your pre-dinner Onefit bootcamp or yoga class.

We believe that to be successful in this role, you will...:

  • Build relations with Startup CEO/CTOs and their investors
  • Be the face and voice of LevelUp in conferences, meetups and events
  • Grow revenue from new fast-growing tech companies in the Netherlands
  • Apply a consultative mindset and strong curiosity to startups
  • Learn and apply growth hacking, inbound marketing and digital outbound prospecting tools
  • Work in close collaboration with the founder/CEO and recruiters on signing new clients, and ensuring a strong handover & onboarding of new clients
  • Generate content and use content marketing to further establish LevelUp as thought leader for talent in the tech ecosystem, and to generate more inbound leads
  • Never cold call. We know it works for some but we believe it's highly unpleasant

  • BS/BSc./MSc. level, we need you to be a clever puppy
  • 2 yrs experience in a customer facing role, ideally commercial or target driven
  • Some experience in the startup ecosystem
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Grit: if you fall flat on your face; crawl back up, cry or laugh a bit, fist-bump your colleague, and get back running to your goal
  • Enjoy getting things done, not just chatting about it
  • Great listening, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic and warm personality
  • You already have EU passport or EU working permit

Although not required, we offer bonus points for experience with content marketing, growth hacking, project- or event management, and public speaking or debating experience.
